Taihu Station, Qianshan Station, Anqing West Station and Susong Station of Anqing-Jiujiang High-speed Rail, i.e., Anqing-Jiujiang Section of Beijing-Hongkong High-speed Line (Beijing-Hongkong High-speed Railway)

Project Information:

Project Date:2020-2021

Project Location:Anqing-Jiujiang Section of Beijing-Hongkong Railway

Project Name:Taihu Station, Qianshan Station, Anqing West Station and Susong Station of Anqing-Jiujiang High-speed Rail, i.e., Anqing-Jiujiang Section of Beijing-Hongkong High-speed Line (Beijing-Hongkong High-speed Railway)

Project Solution:Double channel steel joists were used to effectively reduce the supporting materials below beams and the steel consumption of the project. Two warehousing bases were engaged in supply and nearly 10,000t of ringlock scaffolds were effectively mobilized

Introduction:
Anqing-Jiujiang High-speed Rail, i.e., the Anqing-Jiujiang Section of Beijing-Hongkong High-speed Line (Beijing-Hongkong High-speed Railway) is an important part of "Beijing-Hongkong (Taipei) Channel" in the "eight longitudinal and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network according to the Middle and Long-term Railway Network Planning. Anqing-Jiujiang High-speed Rail starts from Anqing West Station to Lushan Station (Anqing Connection Line constructed at the same time). The new main line is 198.3km long wit 7 stations and design speed of 350km/h. Cooperating with the client in station housing construction, CDHORIZON provided professional technologies and efficient material supply services for the construction of Taihu Station, Qianshan Station, Anqing West Station and Susong Station to vigorously support the construction of Anqing-Jiujiang Railway. To ensure the safe and efficient completion of the project, CDHORIZON's structure engineers fully leveraged their wisdom to design a safe and stable frame structure which can meet the client's requirement on steel consumption. According to the station housing design of Anqing West Station, there are 5 structural layers, i.e., exit interlayer, platform layer, support rail layer, platform interlayer and overpass layer. The framework adopts Φ48 ringlock system. The maximum erection height of the exit layer framework is 4.8m, for which, the typical combination of beam, slab and upright tube is used. The maximum erection heights of the platform layer and the interlayer is 10.8m, and 9.4m for the support rail layer, where, the joist system is used to reduce the supports below the beams. The maximum erection height of the bypass layer framework is 9.5m. In addition to Anqing West Station, Taihu Station, Qianshan Station and Susong Station were also under construction. Thanks to the efficient cooperation between CDHORIZON's technical service and the client, the framework structure is basically accomplished. To effectively reduce the steel consumption of the framework, CDHORIZON engaged double channel steel joists to eliminate the supporting materials below beams and replaced steel tubular connections with ringlock scaffolds at nodes subject to significant height difference to efficiently decrease the steel consumption of the project. The two warehousing bases in Nanjing and Shanghai Jinshan realized one-stop rapid supply of CDHORIZON. Nearly 10,000t of ringlock scaffolds and supporting materials were efficiently mobilized to satisfactorily meet the client's urgent demand for materials and realize win-win, laying a good foundation for the successful operation of Anqing-Jiujiang High-speed Railway in 2021.
